Plato and the modern world

Plato, one of the greatest philosophers of all time, wrote his dialogues in the 5th Century BC. He was addressing the issues that the world was facing at that time. What issues do we face in our own modern-day world?

Could Plato’s writings help us to gain a better understanding of our modern-day issues and how we might address them? In this workshop we will explore some of the challenges we currently face and examine some words of Plato to see how he might help us.
