Mindfulness, heartfulness and philosophy – How these ancient and modern great life systems can help us live well, now

mindfulnes-heartfuless-for-life

In this series of three connected and connecting sessions facilitated by long time School of Philosophy member Associate Professor Stephen McKenzie we will explore, together:

  • What mindfulness really is and isn’t, how far its modern manifestation has moved it from its ancient origins, and how this ancient as well as modern practice can help us survive and thrive in our modern world.

  • What heartfulness really us and isn’t, and whether we need to connect with our essential nature, including our emotions, to really survive and thrive.

  • What philosophy really is and isn’t, whether it is essentially connected with mindfulness and heartfulness, and how these great life systems can take us home, to who we really are, together.
